Nearly every company in the world runs on custom software: Gartner estimates that up to 50% of all code is written for internal use. This is the operational software for refunding orders, underwriting loans, onboarding employees, analyzing transactions, and providing customer support. But most companies don’t have adequate resources to properly invest in these tools, leading to a lot of old and clunky internal software or, even worse, users still stuck in manual and spreadsheet flows.

WHY WE’RE LOOKING FOR YOU

Retool is growing rapidly and we need more top-of-funnel recruiting support to help fuel this growth. We’re looking for a go-to-market sourcer who can partner with our recruiters and hiring managers to find, engage, and attract excellent account executives, account managers, sales engineers, and more.  This person will leverage their highly-developed “finding” skills, Boolean knowledge, and engagement skills to bring in exceptional talent to the organization. 

You’ll partner deeply with our team members to understand their needs and pain points, which making suggestions and having impact along the way. We’ll look to you to share industry news, best practices, and help us grow Retool so we can continue to bring good software to everyone.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Find and engage with exceptional talent to support our growing GTM org
  • Maintain activity metrics, from reach outs to conversions to hires
  • Work with our recruiters and hiring managers to understand needs and then go execute against them 
  • Successfully engage with passive candidates and connect them with Retool recruiters
  • Write engaging and carefully crafted messaging to attract candidates
  • Deliver an excellent candidate experience, up to our own internal bar. 
  • Communicate extremely well via written communication. 
  • Partner with other sourcers to make sure role ownership is clear, tips and tricks are shared, and to create a positive team dynamic.

THE SKILLSET YOU'LL BRING:

  • 2+ years previous experience as an in-house sourcer, primarily focused on GTM organizations
  • Deep understanding of the startup market and demonstrated success in researching industry trends and markets
  • Demonstrated success in crafting excellent email campaigns. 
  • Past success in contributing hires to the team’s overall hiring goals
  • Ability to own several pipelines at once
  • Interest and curiosity to why things work the way they do 
  • A critical eye for what we could be doing better
  • Ability to consistently achieve success metrics

This is an hourly, contract position and not eligible for employee benefits.

Pay Rate Range Hourly
$60$75 USD
